Located in Gisenyi Sector, Rubavu District ; Etincelles FC is a professional Football Club currently competing in Primus National League the top tier of Rwandan Football. The club was established in 1965 under the name Guepard FC. In 1976 the club changed its name to Pfunda FC and later changed to Etincelles FC in 1982. The club plays its home games at Umuganda Stadium. The Rubavu based is known for nurturing football talents. Some of the most iconic footballers in Rwanda of the past and most recent times were formed and mentored in our academy and introduced to the professional scene by Etincelles FC.
